I am a fully licensed and qualified psychologist from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Doc. Ref. 6426/08-03-2013). I am a Certified Trauma Recovery Counsellor (Reg.No. CTRC 1017-17) and a Certified Grief Support Counsellor (Reg.No. CGSC 1019-17), as designated by the Canadian Council of Professional Certification (CCPC Global), a globally valid credential, having completed the Trauma Recovery Certification training and the Grief Support Certification training program developed by Dr. Jane A. Simington, PhD., and delivered through Taking Flight International Corporation based in Canada. I am a Register member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS. Reg. No. 392731), I was a member of the Board of Management of the European Federation of Psychology Students’ Associations (EFPSA), a founding member of the Greek Psychology Students’ Association (GPSA) and a co-creator of a psychology website in Greece.
I have 11 years of professional experience, including research, in a variety of public and private mental health settings both in Greece and the United Kingdom. My experience includes working and training in the Attica Psychiatric Hospitals, the Hellenic Centre for Mental Health and Research (EKEPSYE) working in public schools and working with children and young people diagnosed with Personality Disorders and ASD in private educational therapeutic settings.
My approach is Integrative and my work practice includes individual sessions, group therapy sessions, online therapy sessions and counselling with adults and young people suffering from psychological trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, bereavement and loss and personality disorders.
